After looking at several options for starting my own business I came across the Tint Academy website. I was looking for something that really revolved around cars, window tinting initially didn’t come to mind, however, after looking though the site I was amazed by the opportunity and the profitability of the job that was up for grabs. I was surprised at the value of the course and wanted to find out more. I decided to contact the Academy to ask a few questions, it was really refreshing to talking to someone who answered everything that I wanted to know and really listened to my concerns. I then went ahead to book my course. Everything included in the course was as it was explained, and the accommodation that was included was really comfortable and close to the training facility. I must say I was really impressed with the how professional the outfit was. I must say I don’t think I could of asked for more in the 3 days I was there. I am now giving the reference 4 weeks after the course I must say the back up and support has been second to none with any difficulties I have had and looking forward to the seeing the guys again at one of their seminars in the summer. If you are looking for the best way to get into the industry I would highly recommend one of these course I cannot speak highly enough.

After looking at many other options I opted for the Tint Academy. I liked the idea of a dedicated training facility. I got to say I was amazed how professional the complex was. There were many windows to train on as well as several physical vehicles. I got to tint an Audi A4 Estate that I was talk was really difficult but I managed to do it on only my second day. Also on my final day I managed to shrink a Clio rear window, which was challenging but with some direction from my trainer went down well. I also managed to network with some of the other guys and since then we have done a flat glass job together and are looking at doing some work at Bristol docks for a motor manufacturer. Thanks so much to the guys I could not recommend then enough, money well spent.

I attended another tinting course at the back end of last year with another company. I guess there are no guarantees in this world but I really couldn’t get to grips with what I had been shown. I got the details of the Tint Academy over the Internet and followed them up to attend one their courses. I phoned a few of there past clients, there was no one with a bad word to say, it seem liked they had helped a lot of people out, and few who had been in the same situation as me. After doing all my research making sure I was making the right move I got on the course. The techniques and approach was really different I instantly was able to take the infamous MK 5 golf and Clio with conviction. After try and failing on Clio only 2 weeks prior I was so surprised how easy the new techniques were. Not only this tinting the windows without panel removal, was something really new, I didn’t even know it was possible. However the methodical approach to everything was really easy to understand and I have found myself not forgetting much after the training. Big thanks to Brian and Jamie; you guys really know your stuff! Look forward to seeing everyone in the June seminar.

I attended the 3 day course with the Tint Academy, it was the best value course in both cost and structure at the time. I now feel really confident to get out there and give things a go in my new business. I also tinted my own car Chrysler Voyager on the final day, which before coming to the training I took to a local tinting company who said it was impossible to do. I would recommend this course to anyone looking at getting in window tinting, great start.

I recently bought a how to do window tinting DVD on eBay. After about 2 weeks of trying to follow the course on my own car I decided that I liked the job but I really need some direction with things. I initially thought that I would start doing tinting at the weekends and nights for family, friends etc, but after doing the course with the Tint Academy, I have now started looking for an industrial unit near where I like. The course has got me to a stage where I feel really comfortable working on customer’s cars and doing a good job. Really professional setup and massive experience.

About a month ago I attended the Tint Academy course, just replying to recent request for feedback. The course was fantastic, really enthusiastic and passionate about doing the job, it seem to rub off on me. I have just bought a van to go an do mobile work with the view to opening a unit once I have established myself with main dealers. The marketing tips really worked for me and already I have got bookings for 5 days in advance. I cannot stress enough how good this course is. Initially I was worried by how technical it could be, but sticking to the techniques I am finding it easier every time. By the way thanks so much for picking me up from the Airport and dropping me back off managed to just get to the check in on time!

I have come over from Ireland this week to learn window tinting on the 3-day course. I was a bit concerned that the 3 days would not be enough but feel confident enough to get out there and give things a good go and put in practice everything that I have learnt.
